Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Elote (Corn on the Cob)
A spicy, crunchy twist on street corn your taste buds won't forget!
This might be the most fun I’ve ever had with corn. 😍 If you love a little heat and crunch, this Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Elote is calling your name! I boil my corn, crush up some spicy Cheetos, roll it all in mayo and lime juice — and boom, flavor explosion.
This is one of those recipes that’s so easy, it feels like a party snack and dinner side in one. You can even make a “build-your-own” station for summer BBQs!

⭐Ingredients
- Fresh corn on the cob (shucked)
- Mayonnaise (enough to coat the corn)
- 1–2 limes (cut into wedges)
- Flamin’ Hot Cheetos (Crunchy or Puffs — both work!)
- Fresh or dried cilantro (for topping)
⭐Tools You'll Need
- Rolling pin or meat tenderizer
-
Ziplock bag
-
Pot for boiling (or a grill/steamer)
⭐Instructions
- Cook the corn however you like — I boiled mine, but grilling or steaming works too.
-
While the corn cooks, crush your Flamin’ Hot Cheetos in a Ziplock bag using a rolling pin or meat mallet. Transfer the crumbs to a shallow plate.
-
Slice your limes into wedges and get your cilantro ready.
-
Once your corn is cooked, spread mayo over each cob until fully coated.
-
Roll the mayo-covered corn in the crushed Cheetos until evenly coated.
-
Squeeze fresh lime juice over the top and sprinkle with cilantro.
-
Serve with an extra lime wedge on the side and enjoy immediately!

⭐Joyo's Tip:
Try this with Tajin seasoning, cotija cheese, or even a bit of chili powder if you want to turn up the flavor even more!
