Made with chocolate cake, classic candies, and a little frosting magic, they’re guaranteed to make people smile. Great for school treats, woodland-themed parties, or a baking day with kids.
⭐Ingredients
- 1 box chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients on the box) or your favorite homemade recipe
-
Chocolate buttercream frosting (in a piping bag with a Wilton 1M star tip)
-
Brown M&M’s or Sugar Babies for ears
-
Brown mini M&M’s for the nose
-
White Tic Tacs for teeth (2 per cupcake)
-
Nutter Butter cookies (split and cream removed) for tails
-
Sugar candy eyes (available in most baking aisles or craft stores)
⭐Instructions
-
Bake your cupcakes according to the box or recipe directions. Allow them to cool completely.
-
Using your piping bag, pipe a stacked swirl of chocolate frosting on each cupcake.
-
Gently press half a Nutter Butter cookie into the back of the frosting swirl for the beaver’s tail (pattern side facing inward).
-
Add candy eyes toward the top center of the frosting.
-
Place two brown M&M’s or Sugar Babies above the eyes for ears.
-
Add one mini brown M&M just under the eyes for the nose.
-
Slide two white Tic Tacs into the frosting just beneath the nose, hanging slightly over the cupcake rim to mimic the beaver’s teeth.
🎉 That’s it—your beaver cupcake is ready to make someone smile!
⭐Joy's Tip:
Want to make them even more fun? Use peanut butter frosting or add shredded coconut “grass” to the plate for a little woodland scene!
