Planning a Disney vacation with my family is always exciting, but let's be real — Disney magic comes with a price tag! With every trip, I get better at finding ways to save, earn rewards, and make our Disney days just a little more budget-friendly (without missing out on any of the churros, of course!).

So today, I wanted to share how I’m saving up for our next trip to Disneyland or Walt Disney World — and how you can too!

One of the biggest tools in my Disney savings toolbox? My Capital One rewards card. I use this card for most of our daily purchases — groceries, gas, Target runs, online orders (especially those Disney tees!) — and I let the cashback rewards build up over time.

What I love about it is that it's simple. No complicated points charts, no rotating categories. Just straight-up cash rewards I can use however I want — and for me, that usually means Disney!

Another reason I love using this card: the built-in travel benefits. On our last trip, we booked a hotel and rental car through their travel portal and saved even more. And there's no foreign transaction fees, which is a dream if we ever visit an international Disney park someday (Tokyo Disneyland is on my bucket list!).

I try to treat our Disney trip like a seasonal savings goal. I plan for it in advance, track sales, and look for ways to earn extra on everyday purchases.
