Burnt Ends Baked Beans: Bold, Sweet & BBQ-Ready

These Burnt Ends Baked Beans are the ultimate BBQ side dish. Sweet, smoky, and loaded with melt-in-your-mouth meat, this one-pan wonder is perfect for cookouts, potlucks, or anytime you want baked beans with a serious upgrade.

I grabbed the burnt ends from Aldi (convenient and flavorful!), but feel free to use homemade or leftovers from your last brisket night.

⭐Ingredients

  • 28 oz can baked beans
  • ¼ cup ketchup

  • ¼ cup yellow mustard

  • ¼ cup brown sugar

  • 2 tbsp minced garlic

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 cups burnt ends (I used Aldi’s version—yum!)

⭐Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • In a cast iron skillet or casserole dish, add all ingredients.

  • Stir well to combine.

  • Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.

  • Remove from oven and stir again.

  • Return to oven and bake another 20 minutes.

  • Serve warm—and get ready for seconds.

Make a double batch if you’re feeding a crowd—these beans disappear fast. I love topping mine with a little shredded cheddar and chopped green onion for a loaded BBQ bowl. Serve with cornbread or spoon it right over a baked potato!
