White plate of deviled eggs decorated with green onion “laces” to look like mini footballs—perfect for game day appetizers.

Game Day Deviled Eggs

Football snacks don’t get cuter (or easier) than these Game Day Deviled Eggs! Classic, creamy deviled eggs get a sporty twist with green onion “laces” that make each one look just like a mini football. They’re fun, flavorful, and perfect for tailgating, Super Bowl parties, or any Sunday football feast.

⭐Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs, hard-boiled and peeled

  • 3 tbsp mayo

  • 1 tsp yellow mustard

  • Pinch of paprika

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • 2–3 green onions (green part only), cut into thin strips for garnish

⭐Instructions

  • Boil & Prep the Eggs
Slice hard-boiled eggs in half lengthwise. Scoop yolks into a small bowl.

  • Mix the Filling
Mash yolks with mayo, mustard, a dash of paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.

  • Fill the Eggs
Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into each egg white half.

  • Add the Football Laces
Use thin green onion strips to create the "laces" on top—one vertical line with two or three short horizontal ones across, just like on a football!

  • Serve & Celebrate
Sprinkle with a little extra paprika if you like, and place them on a platter for your game day crowd.

⭐Joy's Tip

Use kitchen scissors to make cutting those green onion strips super easy! You can prep the eggs a day ahead and add the “laces” just before serving to keep them fresh and photo-ready.
