White Chocolate Pudding Cookies Recipe
Soft, Sweet & Full of Vanilla Chip Magic
There’s just something about pudding mix in cookie dough that turns your everyday treat into a soft-baked dream — and these White Chocolate Pudding Cookies are no exception. I’ve made these for movie nights, road trips, and even packed them into Disneyland snack bags for a sweet homemade treat on Main Street!
With cozy vanilla flavor, melty chips, and a secret ingredient (psst… it's the instant white chocolate pudding), this recipe is an easy win whether you’re baking for a crowd or just for fun.
- ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
-
1 teaspoon almond extract
-
1 cup sugar
-
2 eggs
-
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-
1 teaspoon baking soda
-
Pinch of salt
-
1 (3.5 oz) package instant white chocolate pudding mix
-
2 cups all-purpose flour
-
1 cup vanilla baking chips (white chocolate chips work great!)
-
Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper or lightly spray with nonstick spray.
-
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until fluffy and smooth.
-
Add the eggs, vanilla, and almond extract. Beat for about 1 minute.
-
Mix in the baking soda and salt.
-
Add in the pudding mix and blend until fully combined.
-
Slowly mix in the flour until a dough forms.
-
Fold in the vanilla chips — don’t skip this step, they’re the sweet surprise in every bite.
-
Use a cookie scoop to portion dough balls and place 2” apart on the prepared cookie sheets.
-
Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
-
Cool slightly… and then devour!
Yields: About 18 cookies
