White Chocolate Pudding Cookies Recipe

Soft, Sweet & Full of Vanilla Chip Magic

There’s just something about pudding mix in cookie dough that turns your everyday treat into a soft-baked dream — and these White Chocolate Pudding Cookies are no exception. I’ve made these for movie nights, road trips, and even packed them into Disneyland snack bags for a sweet homemade treat on Main Street!

With cozy vanilla flavor, melty chips, and a secret ingredient (psst… it's the instant white chocolate pudding), this recipe is an easy win whether you’re baking for a crowd or just for fun.

⭐Ingredients

  • ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1 (3.5 oz) package instant white chocolate pudding mix

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup vanilla baking chips (white chocolate chips work great!)

⭐Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper or lightly spray with nonstick spray.

  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until fluffy and smooth.

  3. Add the eggs, vanilla, and almond extract. Beat for about 1 minute.

  4. Mix in the baking soda and salt.

  5. Add in the pudding mix and blend until fully combined.

  6. Slowly mix in the flour until a dough forms.

  7. Fold in the vanilla chips — don’t skip this step, they’re the sweet surprise in every bite.

  8. Use a cookie scoop to portion dough balls and place 2” apart on the prepared cookie sheets.

  9. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.

  10. Cool slightly… and then devour!

Yields: About 18 cookies

⭐Joy's Tip

Want that bakery-style look? Press a few extra white chips on top of each dough ball before baking. It makes them look extra pretty (and yes, extra delicious)!
